City of Brantford invites job seekers to “come grow with us” at municipal job fair

City Hall Come Grow with Us Job Fair

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is excited to announce that we will be hosting an in person “Come Grow with Us” Job Fair on Saturday, November 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, 254 North Park Street. Hiring managers along with various staff from 15 City departments will be on-site taking questions from attendees and sharing information about having a career with the municipality.

“This event is open to anyone who is considering a career in municipal government” says Heidi de Vries, General Manager of People, Legislated Services and Planning, City of Brantford. “If you have a passion for public service and helping people, or if you want to do meaningful work that gives back to the community, the City of Brantford is an ideal place for you to grow your career.”

Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume to review with hiring managers, ask questions of City staff and be prepared to speak to hiring managers about careers at the City that may be of interest to them. Applications for positions will not be accepted at the job fair as applicants must apply online at www.Brantford.ca/Careers.

Students looking for work next summer are encouraged to attend as many seasonal summer job opportunities will be available for 2023.
