As a lifelong volunteer and activist, Councillor Antoski is excited to have the opportunity to build on the foundation she has fostered as a member of the Board to date, saying, “I am proud to represent Brantford at the national level and I will continue to work hard to achieve local results. Municipal government depends on cooperative partnerships with all levels of government, and we must consider multiple perspectives coming together through the lens of fostering an inclusive and sustainable community. The COVID-19 pandemic has made this more important than ever.”

Councillor Antoski’s approach has been integral to her successful contribution on the FCM Board. In her most recent term, she focused efforts on issues that matter to her most including serving on the following Standing Committees:

  • Vice-Chair of Increasing Women’s Participation in Municipal Government
  • Community Safety and Crime Prevention
  • Conference Planning
  • Environmental Issues and Sustainable Development
  • Social and Economic Development
  • Ontario Caucus Member

“Councillor Antoski deeply cares about her community and its people,” said Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “She has been a leader for Brantford at the national level and I am certain she will continue to make an outstanding contribution to FCM while representing our great city with distinction.”
