Emergency Licensed Child Care for school-aged children

BRANTFORD, ON – Licensed child care centres in the City of Brantford and the County of Brant will provide over 150 Emergency Licensed Child Care spaces to eligible families beginning Monday, April 19th, 2021.

These services are being provided as a result of Premier Ford’s announcement on April 12th, 2021 that Ontario would be offering free emergency child care for school-aged children. All licensed child care centres adhere to both Provincial and local health and safety guidelines. Eligibility requirements include the following:

Information and the application for Emergency Child Care can be found at www.brantford.ca/childrenservices.  Child care space availability can be accessed using the OneList child care registry and by completing the online financial assistance application.
