Help shape the future of the City of Brantford's Cemeteries

Cemetery

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is dedicated to ensuring our cemeteries meet the needs of our community, now and into the future. The development of a Brantford Cemeteries Master Plan is currently underway and we’re seeking input to help guide the future development, operation, care and maintenance of Brantford Cemeteries.

Have your say

Residents are invited to share their ideas and provide feedback to help us understand the community’s interment and memorialization needs, ensuring we have the capacity and offerings to serve families for the next 25 years.

  • Take the Brantford Cemeteries Public Engagement Survey at letstalkbrantford.ca/Cemeteries, open for feedback until Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 4:30 p.m.
  • Share your ideas for each of the cemeteries under municipal management at letstalkbrantford.ca/Cemeteries.
  • Attend an in-person input session at the Brantford Farmers’ Market (79 Icomm Drive) on Saturday, April 13 or Saturday, May 25, 2024. Staff will be available to discuss any feedback and answer questions from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This comprehensive study will focus on the five cemeteries under municipal management, including; Oakhill Cemetery (17 Jennings Road), Mount Hope Cemetery (169 Charing Cross Street), Greenwood Cemetery (200 Clarence Street), Batson Cemetery (331A King George Road), and Tranquility Cemetery (333A King George Road).
