BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford invites residents to celebrate the completion of the revitalization work on the TH&B Crossing Bridge. An official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 4 p.m. near the Fordview Trail entrance to the bridge. Attendees can sip on hot chocolate and take in the beautiful artwork created by nearly 150 local volunteers on the inside panels of the bridge.

“Join me in celebrating and recognizing the hard-working volunteers and City staff who made the TH&B Crossing Bridge Revitalization project possible,” says Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “This project is a wonderful example of the community coming together to make something beautiful for everyone to enjoy.”

Recently, a full replacement of the bridge’s wood deck and minor steel repairs replace took place to ensure a sturdy foundation that will support connections across the Grand River. This extends the service life of this important landmark within the trail network. All are welcome to attend the event and registration is not required in advance.
