BRANTFORD, ON – It has come to the City’s attention that there is a website currently featuring incorrect information regarding Housing Resource Centre (HRC) Services. Effective February 1, 2024, Housing Resource Centre Services transitioned to being delivered by SOAR Community Services, formerly known as St Leonard's Community Services.

The Housing Resource Centre remains committed to assisting individuals and families in securing permanent housing within the City of Brantford and the County of Brant. Dedicated HRC staff are available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to provide the following services:

  • Support with referrals to internal and external resources, including addictions and mental health services, employment services, legal clinics, identification and tax clinics, income support services, and food bank services
  • Assistance with completing applications such as Brant Access to Housing (BATH), Canada-Ontario Housing Benefit (COHB), and the Housing Stability Fund
  • Housing searches
  • Landlord liaison services
  • Education on rights and responsibilities as a tenant
