BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford’s Community Skate Exchange returns in December. Residents can donate, exchange or pick-up a free pair of gently-used ice skates. The Community Skate Exchange program takes place each Wednesday from December 7 to December 14, 2022 and January 11 to February 15, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Harmony Square main office, located at 89 Dalhousie Street. Community members in need of ice skates, or looking to exchange their old ones for a new size, are encouraged to attend.

“The City is pleased to help provide families an opportunity to get free ice skates so they can get out, have fun and stay active this winter season,” says Jennifer Middleton, Coordinator of Special Events for the City of Brantford. “We are grateful to the community for their donations that help make this program possible.”
