Brantford Transit Resumes Half Hour Service

Brantford transit bus

BRANFORD, ON – The City is pleased to advise that effective Tuesday, September 6, 2022, Brantford Transit will resume half hour service, Monday to Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please visit www.brantford.ca/Transit to find the most up-to-date Brantford Transit schedules. We also want to take this opportunity to thank riders for your patience as we worked to recruit and train additional Transit Operators.

Transit shelter replacements

New solar powered transit shelters continue to be installed as we work to build a more sustainable and modern Brantford Transit service. While these upgrades are nearing completion and expect to be finished by the end of September 2022, there may be a short period of time where some stops are without a transit shelter. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank riders for their patience while new transit shelters are installed.

Drop After Dark program

Brantford Transit’s Drop After Dark program allows riders travelling between 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. to exit the bus at locations along the route other than the regular bus stops. Simply notify the bus operator at least one stop ahead of where you wish to get off the bus. Providing it is safe to stop, the operator will let you off as close to your request as possible.

Branford Lift service extension update

Since Monday, June 27, Brantford Lift has temporarily extended service to include those 55 years of age and older from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, without requiring an application. This extension of service will end on Sunday, September 4. Learn more about booking a ride with Brantford Lift at www.brantfordlift.ca or by calling 519-752-4444.
