Brantford Transit service changes effective June 22, 2025

BRANTFORD, ON – Brantford Transit will implement service changes beginning Sunday, June 22, 2025, to improve access in select areas of the city and adjust for summer ridership levels.

Frequency adjustments

The following routes will operate on a 30-minute frequency during daytime service, Monday through Saturday:

  • Route 4A 
  • Route 4C 
  • Route 6 
  • Route 7 
  • Route 9 

Route Modifications

Route 9 - Morning Departure Adjustment

The 8:00 a.m. trip from the Transit Terminal will now travel via the Brantford Medical Centre (40 Shellington Place) and will no longer serve the full length of Sinclair Boulevard.

Route 12 - Alignment and Stop Changes

To improve efficiency and consistency with daytime Route 1:

  • Departing from the terminal, Route 12 will no longer serve Icomm Drive or Clarence Street South. 
  • Instead, the route will now serve the following stops:
    • King Street at Colborne Street 
    • Beckett Adult Leisure Centre (219 Colborne Street)
    • Colborne Street at Echo Street
