City of Brantford Holiday Hours 2020-21

Brantford, ON - The holiday season is here and with that comes special hours for many facilities throughout Brantford. The City of Brantford’s Customer Contact Centre will be open on Thursday, December 24, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closed on December 25 and 28, 2020 and January 1, 2021. The contact centre will reopen on Monday, January 4, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. Many city services can be requested or addressed using one of our comprehensive online forms, meaning you can conveniently request a city service from the comfort of your home by visiting Brantford.ca/RequestService. If you have any questions, you can reach the contact centre by phone at 519-759-4150.

While City Hall is open, there will be reduced access to services with COVID-19 protocols in place. To avoid unnecessary wait times outside of the building, residents are strongly encouraged to first call 519-759-4150 to book an appointment. Garbage and Recycling Collection

Regular garbage and recycling collection will occur on Thursday, December 24, 2020 and Thursday, December 31, 2020. Your garbage and recycling collection will occur one day later than regularly scheduled if it falls on Christmas Day (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1). Friday, December 25, 2020 collection will occur on Saturday, December 26, 2020 and Friday, January 1, 2021 collection will occur on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Use the Recycle Coach app and never miss another collection. With the easy-to-use calendar you can find your upcoming collection schedule simply by searching your home address.

Christmas tree collection will occur from January 4, 2021 to January 15, 2021. Most wrapping paper is non-recyclable. Only wrapping paper that is 100 per cent plain paper can be recycled. Please place metallic and cellophane wrapping paper in the garbage and not in your blue box.
