Discover Brantford's Fall/Winter FUN Guide is available tomorrow!

BRANTFORD, ON – Residents are invited to discover the City’s recreational opportunities in the new City of Brantford Fall/Winter FUN Guide. Filled with over 100 programs and activities that residents of all ages can enjoy, the guide will be online and printed copies are available at several City facilities on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

“The Brantford Fun Guide is your go-to resource to discover the many recreational opportunities available to residents of all ages and abilities,” says Mayor Kevin Davis. “Our dedicated staff have put together an extensive range of programs, events and workshops to help residents get active and explore new hobbies while connecting with others.”

The Brantford FUN Guide offers helpful information about programming and activities for all ages from preschool to 55+, including upcoming special events, recreation activities such as swimming and ice-skating, day camps and rentals. Residents can expect to find valuable information about what is offered at several popular City facilities including, Beckett Recreation Centre, Bell Homestead National Historic Site, Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre and Branlyn, Doug Snooks Eagle Place, T.B.Costain/SC Johnson and Woodman Park Community Centres.

Some programs will require registration at Brantford.ca/Activenet or by calling 519-759-4150.

Important registration dates:

  • Fall program registration begins on September 6 at 7:30 a.m.
  • Fall Swim Lesson and lifeguard course registration begins on September 13 at 7:30 a.m.
  • Winter program registration begins on October 25 at 7:30 a.m.
  • Winter Swim Lesson and lifeguard course registration begins on December 6 at 7:30 a.m.

Printed copies of the Fall/Winter 2023-24 Brantford FUN Guide are available at the following facilities starting August 24, 2023 or the guide can be reviewed online by visiting Brantford.ca/FUNGuide:
