Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre to close during the Provincewide Shutdown

Brantford, ON – A provincewide shutdown is in effect as of Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. As a result, effective December 25, 2020, the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre will be closed until further notice. 

Winter swim lesson update

Winter swim lessons scheduled to begin the week of January 11, 2021 will tentatively be rescheduled to begin the week of January 25, 2021 should provincewide shutdown restrictions continue. Further updates will be provided closer to the rescheduled start date.

Current passholders

All current passholder accounts will automatically be placed on hold during the mandated closure. Monthly PAP passholder accounts will not have their January 15 payment processed automatically.

Registered programs and courses

Anyone currently registered in a program and/or Lifeguard and Instructor course scheduled to take place during the closure will be emailed and/or called with a new tentative start date.

Rental groups

All facility rentals will be cancelled until further notice.

Sports fields closed

All sports fields, including the Bisons Alumni North Park Sports Complex Field remain closed until further notice.
